About NerdSip
NerdSip is a microlearning app that replaces doomscrolling with 5-minute, fact-checked courses: swipe a feed ranked by what other curious learners loved most, or type any topic and get your own course. The company was founded by Philip Sergelius and Max Hänze in Reinbek, Germany, and the app launched in March 2026 on iOS and Android as an alternative to social media and doomscrolling. It is available in English, German, Spanish and Portuguese. Its mission is to help adults turn spare minutes on their phone into lasting general knowledge.

What is NerdSip?
NerdSip is a microlearning app that replaces doomscrolling with 5-minute, fact-checked courses: swipe a feed ranked by what other curious learners loved most, or type any topic and get your own course. It runs on iOS and Android. A course has 3, 5 or 10 short lessons, each ending with a mini game, and takes about five minutes.
How many users does NerdSip have?
NerdSip reached 10,000 registered users in September 2026, six months after its launch in March 2026. The user base doubled between the end of July and September 2026.
How does NerdSip check facts in AI-written courses?
NerdSip runs a four-step process. Every course is grounded in live Google Search results when it is written. Automated quality checks score the course library every night. Courses that are flagged for review are held back from the feed. When a user reports a problem, a person reviews the course and can correct or remove it.
What does NerdSip cost?
NerdSip is free to download on the App Store and Google Play. An optional subscription called NerdSip Gold is available.
